During tonight’s college game between Creighton Blue Jay and UConn, 6 ‘1 Steven Ashworth impressed the fans with his shooting prowess. Ashworth dropped a deep 30 feet three-pointer against two UConn defenders, leaving the fans in the arena to erupt in joy. But, the exciting didn’t stop within the arena, it transcended to the NBA world. The deep high-arching three-pointer sure did remind fans of Steph.

Following that particular play, fans swarmed social media to blame the Golden State Warriors superstar for the college senior’s bucket. Everyone’s favorite Twitter Mom Teroya Eason said, “I blame Steph Curry.” Here are some more reactions from the fans.

It wasn’t the only three-pointer he buried tonight. By the end of the first half, the rising star had already sunken 5 in his 9 attempts, and with this hot spree, he can go on to break his season best of 26 points.
