Colorado Buffaloes are going up against Oregon Ducks in a few hours. The squad has won their first three games, including two close games. Until 2010, the program was a member of the Big-12 Conference. Since 2010, the team has been a part of the Pac-12 Conference. But after this season, they decided to head back to the Big-12 scene. Buffaloes have never been Pac-12 Conference champs and not even a Pac-12 South division champion. Coach Sanders and his son Shedeur Sanders would love to improve this record.
For the Oregon Ducks, the story is different. Overall, the program has topped the Pac-12 conference four times. Since last season, Dan Lanning has been at the helm. Last season, the Ducks finished 10-3 under his coaching and won the 2022 Holiday Bowl against North Carolina. This season, they have collected three wins, two of them being massive wins against Portland State and Hawai. Therefore, coach Lanning has acquired 13 wins in 16 games.
The pre-game conference between the squads led to a lot of questions. One reporter asked: “Initial reaction when you heard about the news of Colorado leaving; and does these changes change the approach or attitude as far as coming into the season?? To this Lanning, replied, “Not a big reaction. I am trying to remember what they won to affect this Conference, I don?t remember. Do you remember them winning anything? I don?t remember them winning anything?.

When Damian Lillard got a whiff of these comments, he took exception to them. He posted a story that redirects to the Bleacher Report reel where Lanning is making his comments and wrote ?Smh?. The Guard seems to be a big fan of Sanders. However, what Lanning is saying holds some weight. Ducks have accomplished a lot more than the Buffaloes as a Pac-12 team. Will Sanders change that?

Deion Sanders has started with a lot of promise
Buffaloes last won a championship in 1990. Since then, except for a few top-notch seasons here and there, they have struggled massively. Their Pac-12 journey has been arduous, and the program doesn?t inspire much confidence. However, Coach Prime has changed the narrative. The program has now come into the limelight thanks to his amazing start. LBJ and Dame have loved and defended what he has shown.
