When he’s not playing, fans often see Kevin Durant expressing his opinions on social media and engaging in heated discussions with fans. Durant has a history of being involved in arguments with fans and critics online. Although, he is someone who doesn’t miss a chance to hit back at his critics.
On many occasions, he has faced criticism for these interactions and sometimes deletes his tweets after the arguments. But he doesn’t seem to change or back down from his stance. But his recent argument was not to defend himself or to take a stand for anyone, but about the skill that he excels upon.

Just a few hours ago, Durant got into an argument with fans where he had a “Woke up and chose violence” moment. The argument went on continuously for over 15 minutes, and KD responded within minutes. The rant could have gone longer if not for another Twitter user who came to present an argument in his favor.
This made the 4x NBA champion tweet his final tweet, which read, “Thank ya. They just wanna argue with me for engagement”.
But how did it actually start in the first place, you ask?
It started almost 24 hours ago when KD came out of nowhere and questioned a Brooklyn Nets fan, who quote tweeted a post that showed respect to former NBA player Carmelo Anthony, the user had tweeted, “Bucket getters are more respected by players than other types of players exhibit 200.” In response to this tweet, Durant asked, “What’s the object of the game?”
And that was only the beginning. 24 hours later, when the Phoenix Suns forward came back to the social networking app, he got involved in a series of arguments that went back and forth without stopping.

He kept on emphasizing that to win a game, scoring is more important.

Then again, every time, he’d just highlight the term score to give more power to his statement.
