The Golden State Warriors suffered a devastating loss last week. Their assistant coach, Dejan Milojevic, passed away last Wednesday after suffering a heart attack during a team dinner in Utah. Stephen Curry and Co. were in Salt Lake City to play the Jazz the following night. However, the Warriors vs. Jazz game was postponed along with the next game against the Dallas Mavericks after Milojevic’s sudden demise.

Days after honoring Dejan, the NBA stung the Warriors with a grueling schedule to make up for the missed games.

The NBA revealed the updated schedule for the Golden State Warriors to accommodate the two postponed games following Dejan Milojevic’s passing. The Utah Jazz game that was previously scheduled on January 17 will now be played on February 15, the last day before the All-Star break. The second postponed game against the Dallas Mavericks, which was previously scheduled for January 17, has been rescheduled to April 2. Apart from the new dates for the previously postponed games, the NBA rescheduled two more games in the Warriors and Mavs’ schedule.

The Warriors vs. Mavs game that was previously scheduled for April 2 has been moved to April 5. That adds two back-to-back stints in Stephen Curry and Co.’s schedule as they are already set to face the LA Clippers on February 14 and the Houston Rockets on April 4. NBA’s announcement adds to Stephen Curry and Co.’s misery, as they have already been struggling to stay afloat all season. The Hawks vs. Mavs game on April 5 has also been rescheduled to April 4, adding a back-to-back stint for Luka Doncic and Co. as well. The Warriors will play the Mavs twice in the same week at the beginning of April.
