The Milwaukee Bucks have been terrible. There are no other ways to put across their performances this season. If Doc Rivers doesn’t get hold of his team, he might face the sack. They lie 12th in the Eastern Conference table with a 4-9 record, looking for some source of inspiration. For a team having Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, that’s not right. On top of their sketchy form, the prospect of losing Giannis looks likely, with many teams vying for his signature. Looking at the other side of the picture, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are flying. However, Kevin Durant could play a specific role in this trade.

The Golden State Warriors, in the meantime, are on fire, having a record of 10-2 with Stephen Curry and Steve Kerr running the offense to perfection. But, realistically, they need one more player to land the NBA title. Imagine Giannis and Steph on the team. You can’t but not lick your lips at the proposition. In a hypothetical trade situation, 95.7 The Game X’s page, gave an idea to land Giannis.

With Giannis earning a massive contract of $48,787,676, they would undoubtedly need to ship out some players. In a hypothetical trade situation put across, this is how it can happen:

Milwaukee Bucks Get: Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, Brandon Podziemski, De’Anthony Melton, 4 Unprotected First-Round Picks

If you look at it, the Warriors can win a title if Curry and Giannis stay fit. But would it happen? Well, Kevin Durant would have a say in that. It’s no secret the Houston Rockets want Kevin Durant on the team. No matter how much the Phoenix Suns want to keep him, the Houston Rockets have designed a strategy “to give the Rockets more to see if dream trade target Kevin Durant were to become available down the road.”

Are the Bucks wasting Giannis' prime years with their current performance?

Notably, NBA correspondent Marc Stein gave the update. So, will Houston block Giannis’ trade to the Warriors?

Marc Stein mentioned in his post, “The following expansion of the conversation was inevitable given the various combinations of rising prospects and draft picks that the Rockets can assemble in theoretical trade offers, but similar whispers have begun to percolate among rival teams monitoring a potential down-the-road Houston pursuit of Giannis Antetokounmpo.”

It sparks trouble for the Golden State Warriors’ ambitions to land Giannis. The Houston Rockets have the best chance of signing him, as most teams are pursuing similar strategies. For three years, the Rockets took the Top 5 picks in the draft between 2021 and 2023. Moreover, the team signed Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks in the free agency market. On the other hand, Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun are two young-world beaters in the NBA, right now.

Now if you add Giannis to the mix, they have a team capable of winning the NBA title. If they get in Giannis for a package around Green, Jabari Smith Jr, Tari Eason, and something more, they could have a monster team: VanVleet, Brooks, Thompson, Antetokounmpo, and Sengun. This young, dynamic team has the potential to climb the Western Conference standings and even make a deep playoff run.
