As excitement develops into an adrenaline thrill, the Indiana Pacers will tip off the preseason games against the Atlanta Hawks. The game will roll into action on Tuesday, Oct 8, 7 pm (ET) onwards. This game and the next one against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Oct 10, 7 pm (ET) will be away games. Meanwhile, the team will return to GainBridge Fieldhouse on Oct 14, 7 pm (ET) to play against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Lastly, the preseason slate will hit the last strike with the Pacers going against the Charlotte Hornets on Oct 17, 7 pm (ET). Despite being the preseason, don’t expect the entertainment quotient to drop even by a percent. Instead, expect the thrill to increase tenfold.

The Indiana Pacers‘ preseason starts with two road games, followed by a brief break before two home games. This marks the fourth straight year with this pattern. Much attention will be on new players and returning talents. Bennedict Mathurin’s recovery from a shoulder injury is crucial, as is Johnny Furphy’s early playing time. Jarace Walker’s development and Pascal Siakam’s first full season with the franchise after training camp in Indianapolis are also key storylines. They will kick off the regular season on October 23 with an away game, followed by their home opener four days later.

Moreover, with Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam‘s duo, the Pacers could be a bit more optimistic about the 2024-25 season than before. The ex-Raptor shows extreme dedication to Rick Carlisle’s team. Having signed a 4-year, max extension contract, Pascal aims to win every game for the Pacers!

Meanwhile, Siakam has instructed Haliburton and the rest of the squad to stick together ahead of the season. “Stay together, stay locked in, and compete, man,” he said. “Every f—–g day. There’s no day where we come in there and we just f—–g bulls—. Like, every day we’re putting the work in.”

Meanwhile, the team’s clear sheet record against the Atlanta Hawks is a sign of hope. The Pacers lead 4-0 against the Hawks with a tremendous score of 150 and more in three out of four games. At the same time, the Hornets have been a tough nut to crack for Tyrese and Co. with last season’s record standing at 2-2. They’ve won two games with 144-113 and 115-99 scorelines and lost with a score of 124-125 and 102-11.

The same two-wins and two-losses pattern repeated itself against the Cavs. The Indiana side won the first two games against Donovan Mitchell & Co. and lost the remaining two games. Surprisingly, the Grizzlies too, put up a strong fort against Rick Carlisle‘s boys. Having lost the first game with a 103-116 score and winning the next game at 116-110, hope hasn’t left the chat yet!

However, with a young squad, can the Indiana Pacers leave a mark on the 2024-25 season? The chances aren’t too low this time, as the community awaits to see what the team can do. Meanwhile, Tyrese Haliburton has been spending his time recovering and enjoying the live-action of WWE. The Pacers’ wingman continues to complete his side quests with the NBA stuck in his mind for sure.

Amidst 2024-25 City Edition jersey leak, Tyrese Haliburton returns to WWE

The Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton made an appearance at WWE’s NXT show in Orlando. While introducing his Pacers teammates, including Myles Turner, the crowd booed, prompting Haliburton to jokingly say, “I would boo too if I had to be an Orlando Magic fan.” His appearance was also part of a storyline leading to an NXT title match. Well, this isn’t Haliburton’s first WWE experience. In June, he appeared on Smackdown at Madison Square Garden, where he received boos while accompanying Logan Paul to the ring. He even had a playful exchange with Knicks star Jalen Brunson, poking fun at New York’s rare victories.

Meanwhile, the Pacers’ 2024-25 City Edition jerseys have reportedly leaked online. If true, the jerseys will closely resemble last season’s design, with the major change only being the overall black color turning white. The rest of the design elements will remain the same, as per the leaked design. However, the official version may still differ. Consequently, CBS recently ranked the NBA’s top players and coaches. Pacers’ mastermind Rick Carlisle ranked third among ‘the elites tier’ while Haliburton stood 17th and Siakam stood 33rd.

Meanwhile, Andrew Nembhard (94th), and Myles Turner (64th) also made it to the top 100 list! We can say the situation for the Indiana Pacers is in a “so far so good” scenario. Hopefully, this positive outlook will continue throughout the upcoming NBA season.
