The newest entrant of the Mavs has had a field day at the center of the court, soaking in the limelight. Even in Game 3, the star grabbed all the attention with his antics on the court, going up against the Clippers players. Speaking of him, the Mavs HC Jason Kidd said, “P.J.’s great. He’s not afraid of anything. He competes at a high level… He’s been a bit part of the team since he’s been here, and you can see that he’s comfortable.”
Ahead of the trade deadline, the Mavs roped him in in exchange for Grant Williams, Seth Curry, and a first-round pick. In his 29 games for the Mavs, he has averaged 11.7 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. In short, he is a perfect supporting cast for Luka-Kyrie magic.

The P. J. Washington Antics
In the last two games, P.J. Washington received a lot of attention for his antics on the court. Especially in Game 3, he tussled with the Clippers players. He was chirping throughout the game. Notably, at one point, the chirping almost escalated into a physical altercation with Russell Westbrook.
However, both players were ejected out, late in the fourth quarter. During a play, Westbrook received a reach-in foul call against Luka Doncic. While Luka tried to argue, Russ pushed him aside and immediately P.J. stepped into stand up for his teammate. The duo almost engaged in a fight before they were separated. However, they received double-flagrant fouls for their minor pushaways.
