NCAA sensation Caitlin Clark screamed her lungs out after the Tyrese Haliburton game-winner. After going down in Game 1, the Indiana Pacers had two back-to-back strong victories to their name. While the first win came in dominant fashion, the second one needed a Haliburton special late in the game. Following the game, he not only left the NBA world spellbound with his layup but also a recent hoop community sensation.

The Indiana Fever’s latest recruit took to Instagram stories and uploaded the video clip of the game-winner from the stands. Moreover, she also tagged Haliburton and wrote, “Bang.” She also seemed to be screaming at the top of her lungs, clearly hinting at whom she was supporting. The rising superstar was also joined by her teammate, Erica Wheeler.

Before Tyrese Haliburton rocked the Gainbridge Fieldhouse crowd, Caitlin Clark also had her moment with the crowd. Before the Game 3 tip-off, the NCAA star made a grand entry into the arena on an Indy car. She also showcased her arm strength by throwing free T-shirts to the crowd. She was joined by her Fever teammates.

Nevertheless, it was Haliburton at the end who stole the limelight. The game went down to the wire when Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton sank multiple three-pointers to keep the Bucks on the hunt. Notably, the Bucks three-point leader dropped a three-pointer with 2 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 111-111.

Even in overtime, Middleton dropped a three-pointer with 9 seconds remaining on the clock to again tie the score at 118. With only a few seconds remaining in the game, Haliburton created a clutch three-point play by sinking a floater and following it up with a clutch free throw. With this win, the Pacers go 2-1 up in the series, along with a home game in Game 4. The under-manned Bucks will need to put on their best show to level the series in the next game.

Caitlin Clark experiences Indy love before her debut

The NCAA sensation, who is all set to play her rookie season for the Indiana Fever, experienced the home crowd magic. Hailing from the neighboring state of Iowa, Clark wished to get picked by the Fever in the WNBA draft. She said, “I was hoping that Indiana got the first pick… It would have made my life a lot better. So when I saw that, I was pretty excited.”

While the Indy fans have some more time to witness her magic, Haliburton & Co. still have unfinished business to prove to their fans. Following the Game 1 loss, many trolled the team for not having it in them after the In-Season Tournament loss.

They shut down the critics with two back-to-back wins. However, they still have to cross the line by churning in two more wins. Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has been in the last three games with a calf injury, could be threatening for the Pacers if he makes the return. Will the Pacers overcome the Bucks challenge? Let us know in the comments.
