The Pacers just didn’t level the series at 2-2. Tyrese Haliburton & Co. had an intense battle with the hard-working Knicks at Indianapolis. Apart from showcasing balling skills on the court, the 24-year-old proved his trash-talking skills as well. Following the Pacers’ blowout 121-89 win over the Knicks, an NFSW video involving TH and Jalen Brunson’s constant banter broke the internet.
In the video, Tyrese Haliburton can be seen taking on the Knicks players, head-to-head and trash-talking them. Meanwhile, Jalen Brunson, before walking into the locker room after the loss, said, “It’s a long f*cking series.”
The Knicks entered the semi-final series with a bang after kicking out the 76ers in Game 6. They dominantly won the first two games and looked like they would maul the inexperienced Pacers. On the other hand, Tyrese Haliburton also faced a lot of criticism, as a certain section of the fans claimed that he didn’t deserve the attention.

Emotions ran through the player as he broke free in the series after dropping back-to-back 30+ points after a 6-point outing in Game 1. But in Game 4, he completely shut down his critics, spearheading his side to level the series. In the viral video, Haliburton can be seen trash-talking Donte DiVincenzo, saying, “You can’t f*ck with me… Can’t guard me. No, no,” after sinking a three-pointer above. Notably, DiVincenzo played a crucial role in the series with three straight games with 25+ points, which included his playoff-high score of 35 points.

However, tonight, the game entirely belonged to the Pacers’ attack. The ex-Warriors player could only make 7 points with an embarrassing 3-13 FG. Jalen Brunson, the lone fighter, scored 18 points while the rest of the starting lineup scored a total of 21. The Knicks looked worn out, and the Pacers capitalized on it with a flurry of buckets in the first half.
Will Tyrese Haliburton take the Pacers to the Conference Finals?
The job is only half done. They will need two more wins and Haliburton has already talked down the Knicks. This isn’t the first time he trash-talked his opponents. During the In-season tournament, the 24-year-old didn’t hesitate to trash-talk to Damian Lillard. After sinking a crucial three-pointer over the Bucks guard, the youngster turned back and did the ‘Dame Time’ impression. He also looked at the crowd and said, “Y’all know what time it is.”

Following the game, Lillard addressed the moment and said, “As many times as I’ve done it … when you dish it out, you gotta be willing to take it… When you’re having your moment, it’s important to be careful. Be humble. You never know when the tables turn.”
As pointed out by Dame, the table eventually shifted and the young Pacers couldn’t make it to the Finals and the Lakers won the inaugural edition. However, this time around, it’s a different scenario. The team has added strong championship contender Pascal Siakam to their lineup, and anyone can win their 7-game series.

Along with that, the Pacers have a fast-paced approach to the game, and look to accumulate plenty of fast-break points. Haliburton along with Andrew Nembhard and T.J. McConnell could make all the dent. The Knicks definitely will not want to play a Game 7 decider against them.
However, before facing the mighty Celtics, they have to face the boisterous MSG crowd twice. The crucial Game 5 will determine whether the Pacers will have a future in the series or not. Let us know your opinion in the comments.
