Two courtside Lakers fans confirmed LeBron James‘ frustration over Darvin Ham amid intense action. The Lakers nation consumed the rumors of alleged disruption in the player-coach relationship between James and Ham. While it went on without any proof, two Los Angeles Lakers fans seemed to have cracked it live from the courtside. During the Lakers’ Game 3 against the Denver Nuggets at Crypto.com, the fans found seats nearer to the home team’s bench.
In the video, the fans can be seen addressing James’ frustration over subbing him out. In reaction to the superstar’s frustration, one of the fans said, “So LeBron sitting on the bench, someone goes to check in, LeBron stand up and he’s like ‘How’s this motherf*****going in before me’ and he just got up and went.” Another fan clarified him by saying, “He’s the coach.”

The courtside fans are none other than the YouTubers CashNasty and LosPollos. Even though the YouTubers claimed the event without showing the superstar, the NBA world has seen enough reports to back their claim. A few days ago, Bleacher Report‘s Eric Pincus wrote, “There was some buzz in NBA circles that James wasn’t happy with head coach Darvin Ham when the team struggled earlier in the season.” He also added that James would make the management choose between him to Ham if they don’t get the playoff series.
Apart from that, another report claimed how James’ frustration has disrupted the roster. Anthony Irwin of Lakers’ Daily said, “If Ham ever does draw up a play… James will tell everyone else on the court with him ‘f–k all that’ and calls a play of his own.”
The superstar does have the necessary power as a veteran baller on the side. James himself admitted that he once vetoed a play drawn up by Ham during his recent podcast episode with JJ Reddick.

Will Darvin Ham secure his job after this season?
However much pressure Darvin Ham faced from the fans and the players in the locker room, he still has strong support. A Marca article reported that the 50-year-old coach has full support from the Lakers owner Jeannie Buss. And he would save the job if he takes the team to the postseason which he already has.
On the other hand, tonight ahead of Game 4, he spoke about his approach coaching the team’s possible last game of the season. Even though the LA side won the game and forced Game 5, he showed confidence. He added, ” You embrace the joy of competition. You don’t struggle with the stress of fear.”

Jeannie Buss was also rumored to have negotiated with James ahead of his player option, coming in this summer. The superstar has shown all the necessary signs to leave the franchise without extending his stay. Firstly, the team’s poor run and his worrying relationship with Darvin Ham. Secondly, Bronny James’ entry into the league.
The question is, will King James follow his son to a new franchise or will the Lakers rope him in during the 2024 Draft? Let us know your opinion in the comments below.
