Jusuf Nurkic was moved to the bench over a week ago and now, the center’s future in Arizona is looking uncertain more than ever before. This decision came amid Phoenix’s sluggish form as they lost four straight games. Well, the decision has worked well for the Suns who are now 4-1 in their last five games. Although the decision proved to be beneficial, Nurkic isn’t pleased.

The Bosnian big man let his feelings known, saying that the move wasn’t discussed with him by the Suns’ head coach. Budenholzer gave his thoughts on the matter while addressing the media following their win over Utah. He said, “I mean he’s a pro so, you know he’s got to be ready everybody’s earning their minutes, everybody’s earning their opportunities so, we’re going to need everybody uh as we go through the season.” Giving a neutral answer.

Also, this move isn’t entirely based on form. The rumor mill has it that Phoenix might be looking to trade Nurkic. Charlotte Hornets are seemingly interested in a deal involving Nurkic heading to Charlotte while Nick Richards makes a move to Phoenix along with another player and a few picks. But, NBA Insider Evan Sidery now reports that the move might be facing some roadblocks.
