The Los Angeles Lakers have been one of the most disappointing teams so far this season. They have witnessed a sharp drop-off in performances since their In-Season tournament victory in early December. As a result of their sub-par performances, the Lakers have steadily dropped in the Western Conference standings and currently find themselves outside the playoff positions. The team is in dire need of wins if they want to keep their title dreams alive.

They face the Oklahoma City Thunder in their next game. However, the Lakers’ fans face an anxious wait, as the availability of LeBron James remains uncertain for tonight’s game.

The game between the Lakers and the OKC Thunder is scheduled to tip off by 10:30 PM, Eastern Time at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The odds are stacked against the Lakers for this match, but fans of the Lakers can breathe a sigh of relief as LeBron James will most likely participate in tonight’s game. While he is present on the injury report, Bron has always played in previous similar instances. The game promises to be a highly competitive affair between two teams with great championship pedigree. While the Lakers have underperformed so far this season, the Thunder have been nothing short of phenomenal.

Apart from LeBron, the Lakers have also listed Anthony Davis as questionable due to an ankle injury. Lakers’ starter Cam Reddish will also miss tonight’s clash with the Thunder, as he aggravated his knee injury against the Utah Jazz. Gabe Vincent also remains sidelined for at least eight weeks after undergoing knee surgery. On the contrary, the Thunder do not have a lengthy injury list to deal with. However, the Thunder have listed star player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as questionable because of a right knee injury.

The Lakers have endured horrid form since their NBA Cup triumph. Their lofty preseason ambitions of an NBA title look like a far-fetched dream now. The Lakers must start to perform consistently if they still harbor ambitions of the coveted Larry O’Brien trophy, and that starts with a statement win over a promising Thunder side. They would begin the game with D’Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, LeBron James, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Anthony Davis.
