Memphis Grizzles faced the Los Angeles Clippers faced each other tonight and Clippers managed to come out on top with a 128-119 victory. Grizzlies have had a disappointing season with a 14-24 record. Moreover, to make matters worse, Desmond Bane got an injury during the match and is out for the remainder of the game against the Clippers.

Grizzlies had an even worse record of 6-19 before Ja Morant returned after a 25-game suspension. He brought some wins for the team along with some intensity in their gameplay. However, he suffered a torn labrum injury that resulted in a season-ending shoulder surgery. Later, Marcus Smart also injured his right-hand finger in the game against the Dallas Mavericks. He was taken out of play for the rest of the game. But in yet another blow for the fans, the Grizzlies lost for some time a battle-hardened fighter.

Desmond Bane had been the lone fighter for the Grizzlies in the absence of Morant. But he got injured after playing for 23 minutes and was taken out of the remainder of the game due to a left ankle sprain. Before his ouster, Bane added 15 points, 3 assists, and 1 rebound.

The latest injury adds to the woes of the Grizzlies with Morant already having undergone shoulder surgery. Marcus Smart was expected to fill the vacuum, but he planned to go for an MRI. He shared that he did not have a fractured finger, but said that an MRI would reveal possible ligament or tendon damage. In the game against the Mavericks, he had 23 points, four rebounds, and 1 assist. But Bane, Morant, and Smart are not the only ones whose injuries are worrisome for the team.
