In the upcoming regular season matchup, the strong squad of the Magic City will take on the struggling team of the Queen City. Currently, on a 4-game losing streak, the Charlotte Hornets are on a decline with twenty-eight losses and just eight wins ranking them thirteenth in the Eastern Conference rankings. However, their team’s star guard LaMelo Ball finally returned to their squad on 13th January against the San Antonio Spurs after a 20-game absence due to his ankle injury. According to the injury report, Heat’s cornerstone Jimmy Butler is listed as doubtful due to his right toe MP joint sprain. The 23-year-old star guard Tyler Herro is listed as questionable due to his right shoulder strain. At the moment, Butler has missed six consecutive matches due to his injury, which shows its severeness, and Herro, on the other hand, sat out just one game as he got injured during their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Hornets are having a difficult season

The Charlotte Hornets are having their own set of challenges this season, with 15 defeats in their last 16 games, including a 135-99 loss to the weak squad of the San Antonio Spurs. Despite the return of their star point guard LaMelo Ball, who recorded 28 points, 5 assists, and 5 steals in his first game back after a 20-game absence, the squad is still struggling.

Ball leads the Hornets in scoring and assists, but his injury has reduced his availability, which has hampered the team’s success. Even their other star players Terry Rozier and Miles Bridges have also averaged 23.9 and 20.4 points per game but are unable to improve the situation of their club. Also, due to the injuries caused to their key players Gordon Hayward, PJ Washington, and Cody Martin, the Hornets are unable to put their best foot forward in any match. Because of that, the Charlotte Hornets are currently on a decline, but do you think that the return of LaMelo Ball can change the situation of the franchise? Let us know in the comments below.
