With a great squad that has a good mix of both rookies and veterans, the Miami Heat are still not able to capitalize on it and bring in the victories. After suffering a humiliating loss of 113-97 against the Phoenix Suns, the Heat are currently in the eighth position in the Eastern Conference standings. Their next tip-off is against the eighth-position team in the Western Conference standings, the Houston Rockets.
For this matchup, the Heat will be required to come out all guns blazing if they want to secure this win and turn around their season. But for that to happen, they need to make sure that the weapons in their arsenal are up to the mark. Are they? We don’t think so.

The cornerstone of the Magic City, Jimmy Butler has been out of action for quite some time due to his injuries. He even made a comeback on December 30th against the Utah Jazz. However, he left in the third quarter itself as the star forward suffered an MP joint sprain of a toe on his right foot. As for the match against the Bayou City, the 34-year-old forward is listed out due to his toe injury.
However, in terms of making a comeback, the 27-year-old forward Haywood Highsmith has been cleared by the NBA. He had suffered a concussion when he received a blow to the head in the match against the Beehive State and will be playing against the Rockets after missing three consecutive games. So, with his defensive assistance, the Heat will benefit a lot and will increase their chances of attaining glory. Even their rookie player Orlando Robinson might be joining the Heat squad after delivering a 41-point performance in the G-League against the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
On the other side, the Houston Rockets are entering the game with a winning momentum as they are coming off an upset victory against the Milwaukee Bucks. However, their defensive anchor, “The Villan” Dillion Brooks is out of this matchup due to a Right Oblique Strain. With that the chances for offensive domination increase for the Heat. However, will they be able to capitalize on it?
