The crowd in Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee got a taste of the greatness of Damian Lillard. Ever since the Bucks acquired him, fans have been eager to see a moment like it. In the match-up against the Sacramento Kings could only watch as Lillard pulled up from the half-court to sink one of his signature three-pointers in the clutch. The final score was 143-142 making it the third win in a row for the Bucks.

While this close-call, overtime victory did get fans talking, there was something else that also caught their attention. And it isn’t Dame flicking his wrist to signal ‘Dame-Time’. As the seven-time All-star was about to hit the shot, the entire arena, including the Bucks bench, were on their feet. Eagle-eyed fans caught one player, who seemed like he could take the shot instead of Dame.

The confident gesture was by Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Giannis’ brother. Pointing this out was a user by the name of Brick Muse on X (formerly known as Twitter). “Peep Thanasis,” he wrote in the caption.

Another fan however thought that he had gone too far adding, “Bro Thanasis gotta be stopped. This the last straw.” But this was all in good humor though.

At the same time, another fan was more interested in how Thanasis celebrated the point sharing, “Ngl I need someone to get the footage of bro celebrating after this shot.”

The overall reaction from the Bucks bench led this fan to say, ” Best supporting cast of the year goes to …….”
