The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game is underway. With a diverse portfolio for this year’s celebrity game, the league ensured to keep everyone happy. But the famous streamer and YouTube content creator, Kai Cenat, is not happy. He took to X (formerly Twitter) to showcase his disapproval of Coach Shannon Sharpe at halftime.
Cenat pretty much demanded Sharpe to give him more minutes on-court. “COACH GIVE ME MORE MINUTES,” he said, with an angry emoji at the end, in case Sharpe didn’t get the message.

The 22-year-old had promised on multiple platforms that he was aiming to be the MVP of the 2024 All-Star Celebrity Game. He went as far as to give the numbers he would be dropping – 30 points, 10 assists, and 17 rebounds. Quite lofty aspirations, one might say.
But in Cenat’s defense, he did plead Sharpe for more game time days ahead of the All-Star Weekend. He even got a customized T-shirt to show how locked in he was.
Well, it seems like there isn’t going to be much headway with that. The 3x Super Bowl Champion’s picks for the night seem to paying dividends. Team Sharpe has taken the win! They finished 100-91 against Team Stephen A.
That’s not to say that Kai Ceant did not have his moments.

In the second quarter of the game, Cenat went ahead and hit a floater. Smith’s team was still in the lead at the time with 37-32. But it was the assistant coach for Team Sharpe, 50 Cent, who was over the board with happiness. He was seen celebrating that shot with Anuel AA by his side.

Unfortunately, for all the hard work he put in, the MVP honor has gone to NFL sensation, Micah Parsons. Well, at least his team got the victory and his teammate became the MVP. There is always going to be another year for his dreams to come true.

Stephen A. Smith, on the other hand, seems to have been defeated twice in the same day. Before the All-Star Celebrity Game, Smith had to be taken to the hospital after a one-on-one with Parsons. He did clear the air, saying that it was the sweat on the floor that led to him falling down and not a Micah crossover.
But with Sharpe’s team taking the W and Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys crowned the MVP, it seems like the NFL linebacker took tonight’s game personally. We all know how critical Stephen A. has been of the Cowboys. Anyway, it was a great game with some of the best celebrity hoopers out on the floor giving it their all.
