In an interview with The Charlotte Observer, the Baby Faced Assassin talked about the times when it becomes tiring to be Stephen Curry. “The times that it gets difficult is just when you’re with your family and you’re trying to give the kids an experience that they will remember, and a healthy childhood.” Curry said as he shared how it is tough for him to go out with his family in public places without getting noticed or disturbed.

He shared an instance that happened to him on the day of the interview, “I was at my daughter’s volleyball practice this morning and watching her and kind of in the moment, and you’ve got people every 30 seconds coming up, trying to get a picture. … Respectfully, not right now, I’m watching my daughter. And they understand.” Steph respectfully turned his fans down to watch his daughter play the sport she loves. The people also understand that the Warriors guard wants to spend time with his family, and they back down. Steph has learned how to respectfully deal with his fans from seeing his father, Dell Curry, during his NBA career. “It’s part of the nature of the beast.” Steph added.

Despite turning down his fans’ requests, Stephen Curry continues to receive immense support and love from them.
