Gather around people, and take the time to remember your annoying but loving siblings as the National Siblings Day is upon us! Individuals from all around the world made use of this opportunity to take to social media and highlight the love they share for their kin. And, no one was exempted from being remembered, not even Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry.

A few hours ago, the NBA player’s younger sister, Sydel Curry Lee took to her official Instagram to share a post with her over 600K followers. It featured a throwback picture of herself, Stephen and the duo’s other sibling Seth, sitting on a spiral staircase. The faded photograph and the young faces of the Curry family members served as an indication that too much time might have passed, but the bond between the siblings continues to strengthen.

Captioning it, “Postedddd! Happy siblings day brothers!” , the post didn’t take too long to catch the attention of the four-time NBA champion. He reshared the same on his story and added his own caption that read “You couldn’t tell us nothing floosy!”.

Prior to sharing the post on his story, Stephen Curry had taken to the comments section and left a simple “Ayyyye”. Curry’s wife Ayesha also left a like on the post.

The 36-year-old basketball player reportedly shares a close bond with his younger sibling. Having grown up with brothers who were competitive in their way, perhaps his relationship with his sister held a different meaning for the player. So every year, he also doesn’t forget to commemorate and celebrate his sister’s big moments.

Stephen Curry wished Sydel on completing a major milestone with husband Damion Lee

With two of her brothers being renowned players on the basketball court, Sydel already had an indirect association with the NBA. That connection, however, deepened even further after she met and married Suns shooting guard Damion Lee back in 2018. September 2023 marked five years since the couple had been together, and Curry wanted to show his love to his sister and his brother-in-law/on court rival on this occasion.

Taking to his official Instagram account, the Warriors star highlighted a video on his story. It featured a clip from the glamorous wedding that took place half a decade ago, with glimpses of the then newly wedded couple breaking out their moves on the dance floor. Curry wrote a caption alongside the video that read “Happy 5 @sydelcurrylee & @damiOnlee”.
