Bridges recently appeared on an episode of ‘Podcast P with Paul George.’ During his appearance, he talked about adjusting to the new team with his teammate, Cam Johnson.

Bridges was brought into the Nets midseason as the focal point of the Kevin Durant trade, and the initial results were quite positive. Even he believes that he got traded at the perfect time as he was in his best game.

His teammate Cam Thomas at the age of 21 was making history. He averaged 47 points during a game. Despite this, he found himself out of the Nets’ starting lineup. Bridges, however, was filled with praise for his teammate. “Cam that’s my guy,” he said. “Cam tough as hell too.” He recalled how Cam makes “unorthodox” shots. However, he still made them all.

And with KD and Kyrie gone, Bridges believed it was time for him to take over. He said, “I definitely had a feeling, especially with KD and Kyrie going. And what I was doing before I got there I was like okay, like I think it’s probably my time to shine I was ready for it. And I just took it took to the next level.”
