“The new generation looking up to me and appreciating my resume weighs ten times more than the critics,” said George. He added that he himself is his worst critic. “I know times I’ve underperformed, times I could have done better, times you know, um, I’ve had inconsistency moments.”?He described all these as not so uncommon in the case of sports, as every player has these moments.

Eyeing His First NBA Title?

George is yet to win an NBA, despite having featured in NBA All-Star eight times. He is also a six-time member of the All-NBA Team and a four-time member of the NBA All-Defensive Team. Winning the NBA title would cap off a stellar career for the forward.
