Lost.Lost.Won. That’s the current status of the last three games that the LA Lakers have played on the road trip. While two games are still left, their rookie Bronny James’ status looks to be ‘lost’ in love. He is missing someone too much and he has shared the same. Now obviously it can’t be LeBron as the two have become the first father-son duo to play in the NBA. Bronny is currently missing his girlfriend Parker Whitfield, and he expressed the same in a loving message.
“I miss my baby Love u sm,” Bronny James took to his Instagram story on Monday morning to share how he felt for Parker. The caption is accompanied by a snap of the two standing beside each other. White was born in Los Angeles and though there is no clear answer to where she stays, she must reside in LA, where Bronny plays. However, in the past three games, Bronny has been to Phoenix, Cleveland, and Toronto. Not an ideal situation for someone who has recently entered a serious relationship.

The two are said to have met when Bronny was enrolled in Sierra Canyon High School. Whitfield during that time was also a student in the school. While Bronny was active in basketball, Whitfield played on the school’s softball roster. However, the two did not appear together until Team USA’s Paris Olympics semi-final in August against Serbia. And since then there have been rumors of the two dating.

Whitfield turned 20 this September and Bronny too was invited to her birthday party. She is the daughter of the famous pair Salli Richardson-Whitfield and Dondré Whitfield. Sally is known to be in the same circles as LeBron since she directed five episodes of Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty. Currently, Parker studies at Spelman. Meanwhile, away from his love life, Bronny seems to be focused on his career.
Bronny James trying his best in the road games
What’s your perspective on:
Is Bronny James' focus on love affecting his performance on the court?
Have an interesting take?
While Bronny did not take the court against the Phoenix Suns, he certainly got some limited time to play against the Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors. Against the Cavaliers, he scored 2 points during the 5:16 minutes he played whereas against the Raptors, he only took the court for 8 seconds without impacting the scoreboard. Hence, his decision to split time between the Lakers and the Lakers’ South Bay G League affiliate looks to be correct.

The Lakers have two remaining games in this road trip against the Detroit Pistons and the Memphis Grizzlies. And it remains to be seen if Bronny will able to make an impact before he starts plying his trade in the G League. “Just [looking forward to] seeing him continue to grow as a basketball player no matter if it’s here with us or if it’s down with the G League team and him continuing to get better and better and better,” his father LeBron has said about his participation in the league.
And hopefully, by then Bronny would at least cut out some time to meet Whitfield and relax with her in the already hectic season. Meanwhile, LeBron would be trying his best to help him buckle up his skills and have some good outings.
