Dell and Sonya Curry are the proud parents of arguably the greatest sibling duo in NBA history. It is none other than Stephen Curry and his younger brother, Seth. Although there is no debating who is the better player out of the two of them, Seth Curry has quite the career in the NBA himself. The siblings made history in 2019 when they faced off in a heated matchup in the NBA playoffs.

While it was an exciting contest for audiences around the world, Sonya was naturally very emotional and was very ‘stressed’ during the 2019 Western Conference Finals.

The 2019 Western Conference Finals saw the Golden State Warriors take on the Portland Trail Blazers. All the attention was on Steph Curry and Damian Lillard but it was another rivalry which was making all the buzz.

Steph Curry took on his younger brother, Seth. Sonya Curry, the mother of the two basketball stars, was naturally very excited and also emotional at the same time.

During a recent podcast appearance, she revisited the moment and revealed how stressed she was. “When it was over, my daughter came over and said, ‘Mom, Mom’, all excited. I just burst into tears. I was just like, stressed, relieved that this was over. Who do you choose and it’s really wierd and I have to be very careful about this,” said Sonya Curry on the Got It From My Momma podcast.

The younger brother couldn’t get the better of his four time champion elder brother. The Warriors swept the Trail Blazers 4-0 with Steph putting a great performance.
