One of the greatest basketball icons, famous as much for his court-time prowess as for his flamboyant dressing, took a journey back in time to vindicate his individualistic fashion sense. Barkley joked with Westbrook, Five years ago, saying something about their pre-game encounter, implying a “dog attack”.

Five years ago, Charles Barkley made a friendly roast on Westbrook where he joked about an alleged “dog attack”, which ended up tearing apart Westbrook attire. Barkley joked about Westbrook in a pre-game show against Spurs vs Thunder, due to what he saw in the footage, Westbrook wearing a yellow t-shirt with cut-up holes all over the front side and a large gaping heart right in the middle.

When Barkley roasted Westbrook, he said, “Can you show your man boobs … he gonna dress like that? Look like a dog attack, a dog attacked it before the game. … look at Russell Westbrook!”

Cut to the present, and Westbrook replied with a mixture of humor and honesty in a Vouge Magazine series ‘Life in Looks’ where he explained his fashion journey from the NBA draft to the Met Gala. In reply to Chuck’s comment, Westbrook said “I had this jacket that was almost cut in half, so I cut it more, and by accident, I cut the middle part very much and that’s what I did and here we are”.
