However, days after Messi’s iconic debut, James seemed to have ditched the Argentinian legend for another LA franchise. LeBron James’ LA surprise

A  few weeks ago, Lionel Messi marked his debut in the MLS with the Inter Miami franchise. Many celebrities swarmed the event and cheered for the world champion from the sidelines, including LeBron James. Moreover, he reached out to Messi after the game and gave him a long hug. While it seemed like King James wouldn’t miss a single Messi game, he recently ditched the superstar’s game for a $4.8 billion-worth baseball franchise.

Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s Nashville SC took on the Inter Miami on Saturday night. Notably, the Milwaukee Bucks star recently joined the Nashville SC’s ownership team. Even though James had the opportunity to support both Messi and his NBA colleague, he decided to attend the LA Dodgers’ bobblehead night. The superstar stormed the stadium along with his two sons, Bronny and Bryce in Dodgers trousers. He also took to his IG handle and shared pictures and videos from the stadium with his bobblehead.

It’s a tradition in the MLB where every franchise conducts a fan event where special bobbleheads are presented every year. Just like other franchise, this year, the Dodgers featured LeBron James bobblehead on the Saturday night event.

Notably, James isn’t the only Lakers connection for the LA baseball team. 5x NBA Champion Magic Johnson holds a part ownership in the franchise since 2012.
