The Los Angeles Dodgers locked horns with the San Francisco Giants on Sunday night. The Dodgers won the game with a 3-2 in extra innings, moving on top of the NL West by 14 games. However, the victory was not the only defining moment in the match. The game witnessed a hilarious moment. The mic’d up Dodgers’ shortstop excused himself during the in-game interview to make a routine play, leaving the ESPN booth in stitches.
However, this viral moment had LeBron James requesting a rule change in the NBA.

The 34YO Dodgers star gave the world one of the funniest mic’d up moments at the Sunday Night Baseball broadcast. During the game against the Giants, Miguel Rojas was giving an in-game interview when he politely excused. Miguel was narrating a story about using teammate Kiké Hernández’ bats when a ground ball from Thairo Estrada came straight toward him. Rojas quickly added, “Sorry guys, I need to make this play real quick”, before fielding the ground ball.
The comment extracted a loud cackle from the broadcasters. On the other hand, the Lakers’ star LeBron James took to social media to express his thoughts on the viral moment.

King James, inspired by the infielder’s play in the game, posted an IG story expressing his desire to add in-game interviews in his games as well. He wrote, “This is SUPER” with several fire emojis. “May have to add that to one of my games this year for like a quarter“, added the 4x NBA Champion. As of now, Major League Baseball is the only sport in which players are mic’d up during the regular season. However, it would be interesting to get a glimpse of LeBron’s thoughts while he displays his bullish strength on the hardwood.
LeBron will contend for his fifth ring this season
If the NBA adheres to LeBron’s requests, we might witness a historical year as he strives to win his fifth ring. The Los Angeles Lakers front office has made some big off-season moves to beef up their roster. They handed out new contracts to the young Lakers core of Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, Jarred Vanderbilt, and D’Angelo Russell. And also added new faces to the franchise, including sharpshooter Gabe Vincent.
