The Boston Celtics have had the best season so far in the league, with impressive records across franchises. And, this season also has the chance to eradicate the decade long ringless journey. Even if the players won’t believe in this season, a Boston Red Sox legend has definitely faith in the team. And his recent gesture to the Celtics star Jayson Tatum further stamped the legend’s belief in the team.
The Boston region have undergone a curse of two-decade-long ringless journey in any major sport except for the MLB. The Red Sox clinched four World Series titles, most titles won by a team in this century. Whereas in the case of Celtics, it has always been a touch and go game. Despite leveling with the Los Angeles Lakers for the most titles ever won in the NBA, the Celts haven’t seen a single ring in 15 years. But, the tides could turn, as legend David Ortiz presented an invaluable possession to Tatum.

Red Sox legend and MLB Hall of Famer David Ortiz has already gone viral on social media but for a hilariously different reason. The 48-year-old, who was swinging his lumber, missed a ball thrown at him during the gender reveal party of his fourth child, reported ESPN. Following that, the video of the incident went viral on social media.
However, two days later, he fixed his image back on with a massive shout from the Celtics superstar.
The franchise spearhead Jayson Tatum took to his Instagram to showcase his newest collectible. He received an autographed #34 jersey of Red Sox legend, which Ortiz promised to send in a few days ago. Tatum shared the pictures of the jersey on his IG story and wrote, “Love this guy right here,” with fingers crossed emojis.
Notably, the celebratory post came in days after Ortiz revealed that he was the biggest fan of the Celtics powerhouse in an interview.
Apart from being a sports star, Ortiz also had the obligation to win titles for his fans. While he has done his part already, he believes that Tatum would surely bring glory to the Boston region.
