In professional sports, camaraderie and team spirit are often emphasized, but sometimes even the most elite athletes can’t resist a little mischief. Such as happened recently when a playful incident unfolded within the USA World Cup Squad. After their first round-up game, two NBA stars, Tyrese Haliburton and Brandon Ingram, found themselves at the center of a lighthearted controversy involving their teammate, Jalen Brunson.

What started as a simple act of forgetfulness quickly turned into an amusing tale of wallet theft and impromptu snacking.

After Team USA’s first tune-up game against Puerto Rico, the 26 YO Jalen Brunson, inadvertently left his wallet behind. Tyrese Haliburton and Brandon Ingram seized the opportunity for some harmless fun. They stumbled upon Brunson’s wallet and hatched a snacking plan.

With mischievous grins as seen in the viral video, they decided to “borrow” a few dollars from Brunson’s wallet. And what’s their intention? To satisfy their cravings for a quick snack.

With the stolen money, Haliburton and Ingram made their way to the nearest vending machine. They’re now indulging in some chips and other treats.
