The Milwaukee Bucks had a strong start to the season thanks to Lillard’s great performance against a short-handed Philadelphia 76ers. Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls didn’t have the perfect start as they lost to the New Orleans Pelicans. Both teams were involved in high-scoring affairs and everyone will hope that continues when the two sides face each other on Friday.

Doc Rivers expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance that night, stating, “The game plan was exactly what we wanted.” While he pointed out a few minor mistakes, he felt the Bucks executed their strategy effectively. On the other hand, Bulls head coach Billy Donovan acknowledged what his team lacked in their game, saying, “That it was a very big part that we weren’t finishing at a very high level, in the paint and then also the decision when we get there.” He criticized his team’s decision-making, noting that they missed numerous opportunities because of it.

Bulls star Lonzo Ball also featured after a two-year absence, scoring 5 points in the 14 minutes he played. However, it was Zach LaVine who led the lines for the Bulls and looked in great form, scoring 27 points and 5 rebounds. It will be a great matchup when the Bucks lock horns with the Bulls. Let’s take a look at which players can miss this matchup with the injury reports.

Milwaukee Bucks Injury Report

The Bucks could be missing a couple of their star players such as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez. Giannis is probable for the Bulls matchup due to a right patella tendinitis. Without Giannis, the Bucks lose a lot of power. The Greek Freak scored 25 points, 14 rebounds, and made 7 assists in the game against the 76ers.

Brook Lopez is also probable due to a right quadriceps contusion that he suffered in the win on Wednesday. Finally, Khris Middleton is out due to an ankle injury and will not play on Friday.

The Bucks kicked off their season with a statement win, easing concerns about the squad, particularly regarding Damian Lillard, who dazzled on Wednesday. While the Bulls are a solid team and Zach LaVine appears to be in good form, they enter this matchup as underdogs. One key factor is the Bucks’ home advantage; if Giannis and Brook play, they’re likely to have the upper hand in this contest.
