5-5! The Milwaukee Bucks and the Atlanta Hawks have been evenly matched in the last 10 games they have played against each other. Both teams have managed to hold the same level of persistence against other teams, too. As a result, they are placed side-by-side on the Injury Report, occupying the 5 and 6 seed, respectively. With the Bucks currently being in a sweet spot, having won all of their last 7 matchups, the last thing the squad would want is for the streak to be broken in the Fiserv Forum. Fortunately, an improvement on the injury front may increase their odds during the upcoming game.

According to the Milwaukee Bucks Injury Report, Khris Middleton and MarJon Beauchamp are the only players listed as “OUT.” Both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Taurean Prince were on the report until yesterday. Now, however, they are ailment-free. Middleton’s absence may still continue to have an effect on the Bucks. However, the good news that the franchise may have been looking for is that two of the starters have now declared themselves healthy.

It was only a few days ago when the Greek Freak had recovered from his right patellar tendinopathy. No sooner had that happened when he was back on the report with a stomach illness. Fortunately, he remained in the “Day-To-Day” category with a probable status, removing doubts about a long-term absence. Taurean Prince, who was recovering from a right quadriceps contusion, had also remained on the “Day-To-Day” status. Fortunately, the small forward hasn’t missed even a single game this season.

Khris Middleton has been suffering from an ankle ailment since before the ongoing season commenced. As a result, he has yet to even make his season debut. During a recent interview with the Journal Sentinel, the 33-year-old gave an update on his condition, stating, “It’s the same, man. I feel good. I feel like I’m progressing. It’s just slower. Slower than I want it to be.” Continuing to be “OUT,” his debut won’t be coming as his team goes up against Trae Young and Co.

Speaking of the Atlanta Hawks, their Injury Report hasn’t seen a change in the last few days, unlike the Bucks. Trae Young continues holding a “Day-To-Day” status, and Cody Zeller’s ‘personal reasons’ will keep him “OUT” once again. Seth Lundy’s recovery from his sprained left ankle won’t allow him to make his season debut yet. Despite being on the report due to right Achilles tendinitis, Trae Young has been present for every matchup since the one between the Atlanta Hawks and the Boston Celtics. After all, his absence in that game cost the team $100,000. The league imposed a fine due to a violation of the player participation policy. Therefore, unless something serious happens, we should not count Young out of the upcoming game.

In light of these injury updates, both teams will continue with their adjusted starting lineups for the upcoming game.

Reports have revealed that Khris Middleton might return to the court after missing just a few more games. Till then, AJ Green and Gary Trent Jr. can continue to cover for him. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Taurean Prince are now absent from the injury report. In light of this, analysts expect the Milwaukee Bucks to have a starting lineup that looks something like this:

In the off-chance that Trae Young misses the game, Kobe Bufkin and Vit Krejci can see their time on the court increase. Other than that, the coach cannot expect any other changes to the starting five. Therefore, the Atlanta Hawks’ starting lineup for the upcoming game might look something like this:
