The All-Star break is all said and done and we’re officially in the final stretch of the regular season. One team that would love to enter the postseason with some momentum is the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks’ stars, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard are firing on all cylinders this season with 31.8 and 25.8 points per game respectively.

So, it’s natural that if you’re a Milwaukee fan, you’d want these to remain available as the Bucks look to take on their next challenge, the Los Angeles Clippers. But things don’t always work out that way. So let’s check what their injury report says ahead of the Clippers game.

Milwaukee Bucks Injury Report – will Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard play tonight?

It is impossible to overstate how important Dame and Ant are to the Bucks right now. Especially with Khris Middleton out and new signee Kyle Kuzma settling in. But Bucks fans, if you were anxious about the star duo missing the Clippers game, your fears aren’t entirely unfounded.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard are both listed as QUESTIONABLE for the Clippers game. It’s not clear whether Giannis will recover in time for the Clippers game after suffering an injury a week before the All-Star game. However, judging from what he told Eric Nehm of The Athletic, he probably won’t risk it if push comes to shove. ” You don’t want to go out there and play with fear…You don’t want to do that,” he said. Damian Lillard’s case is more puzzling though.

Fresh off his “retirement” from the three-point contest, his status being downgraded has puzzled us all. Andre Jackson Jr. joins Dame and Giannis in being marked QUESTIONABLE. He’s recovering from a wrist injury and the Bucks may have to play a couple of games before he’s back in the rotation. Apart from these three, G-League players, Chris Livingston, Liam Robbins, and Stanley Umude are OUT for the Clippers game.

In a similar vein, the only players OUT for the LA Clippers are their G-League rookies. Namely, Cam Christie, Trentyn Flowers, Kai Jones, and Jordan Miles. These are the only Clippers players liable to miss the Bucks game.

What’s your perspective on:

Can the Bucks survive without Giannis and Dame, or is this game a lost cause already?

Have an interesting take?

Now that we know who the absentees are, let’s how these teams may line up.

Milwaukee Bucks vs LA Clippers – predicted starting lineup and depth chart

With three of their starters compromised heading into this game, the Bucks will need their bench players to set up. Especially if they want to start the latter half of this season with a W. So here’s how they may line up in their upcoming game:

The Clippers are facing fewer issues headed into their upcoming game. Their starting lineup is mostly healthy so they’re virtually at full strength. We expect them to field their strongest lineup against Milwaukee:

The Bucks have historically had the edge in this game. They’re 7-3 in their last 10 games against the Clippers. But if the Clippers ever had an opportunity to reduce the deficit, it’s now when Giannis and Dame are questionable. And the Bucks on the other hand, need to prepare themselves for a dogfight as they take on the Los Angeles Clippers!
