Wednesday is going to be an all-Eastern Conference affair at the Spectrum Center. Now, guess why? Well, the 5th seed of the East are on the road and they’re going to have a quick pit stop in Charlotte. Simply put, the Milwaukee Bucks are facing the Charlotte Hornets in an important clash. With a record of 26-22, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. seem to have the upper hand. But, don’t forget the other side has the likes of LaMelo Ball. And despite being the fourteenth team in the East, the hungry Hornets could turn the game around.

However, the Bucks might have a few reasons to crease their eyebrows. Well, it seems the team has given some major updates on the availability of the Greek Freak and Damian Lillard for Wednesday. Now, the question is: What is the latest information? Are we going to have the Power Duo on the floor? And what does the situation in the Hornets locker room look like? Well, without asking too much, let’s look at the injury reports of both teams ahead of their clash.

Both Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo put on their jerseys against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday. Surely, the game ended in a disastrous 119-132 loss, despite the Greek Freak’s 30-point game, while Dame chipped in 15 points. However, in the next game, which also ended in a defeat against the OKC Thunder, the Bucks sidelined both of their stars. And well, it looks like Lillard and Antetokounmpo are questionable for tonight’s game vs. the Hornets.

The Milwaukee Bucks have reported that Damian Lillard‘s left groin soreness has put him on a day-to-day list. This means the team is observing the 34-year-old point guard. But, sadly, he remains questionable for the matchup. On the other hand, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s patella troubles have also put him on the day-to-day list and remain questionable for Wednesday.

The buck does not stop here. The Bucks have listed Khris Middleton (ankle) and Brook Lopez (back) as questionable. But Bobby Portis, who was out due to personal reasons, could make a comeback to the lineup vs. the Hornets.

The Hornets have small forward Cory Martin listed as day-to-day due to his core injury. Meanwhile, Josh Okogie (hamstring) and LaMelo Ball (ankle) have been sidelined for the clash vs. Giannis Antetokounmpo & Co. The Hornets will be missing out on their superstar Melo, without whom, they could be in some trouble on the court against the Bucks.

What’s your perspective on:

Can the Bucks survive without Giannis and Lillard, or will the Hornets seize the opportunity?

Have an interesting take?

On the other hand, Brandon Miller (wrist) and Grant Williams’ ACL tear have pushed them out of the lineups for the rest of the season. So, the situation for the Hornets seems a bit too tricky to tread through. They need to chalk out a plan to stop the Bucks before they go all-out on them.
