The Los Angeles Lakers got a Christmas present wrapped up at the Chase Center tonight. A tough game that tested their poise against the Golden State Warriors ended in a narrow win. A regular feature, LeBron James battled out against Stephen Curry, both icons giving another classic. However, it wasn’t all great for James and his son Bronny.

In terms of his performance, the Akron Hammer had a fine game, scoring 31 points and distributing 10 assists in a clash where he lost Anthony Davis within seven minutes to an ankle injury. It played well for James who extended his lead as the most prolific Christmas day scorer. Bronny James on the other hand didn’t check in the nervy game.

Luckily, the tandem did end up celebrating after surviving a Curry outburst in the fourth quarter. But they couldn’t make it home in time for the family. In a video posted by Savannah James, she, Bryce, and Zhuri James wore matching pajamas for Christmas. They then followed the tradition of dancing on the day of giving.

Due to the Christmas game being on the road, both LeBron James and Bronny couldn’t be present with the clan to celebrate. However, there must have been some relief in being away from the family since they did come up with a win. And it was also the first Christmas game experience for the 20-year-old as an NBA player. In good news, the two did arrive later to join the family.

And while fans did notice their brief absence, they did find a way to still cherish the family moment.

Fans react to LeBron James, Bronny-less Christmas at the James household

With just three of the five members present, the first thought for many fans went to ‘Where are Bronny and LeBron James?’. But rather than feel sad, they thought about the pride the family must be feeling. “When your husband and oldest baby is in the NBA so demure” a fan wrote about the same.

The family had an ecstatic moment when Bronny’s name got called on draft night. Since then, Savannah James has often looked to celebrate her son just as she did with her husband. But with that being put aside, some fans couldn’t help but adore the family. “Wait z and her mom looks identical” a fan noticed.

The entrepreneur has spoken about trying to be an inspiration for Zhuri James and it seems to be rubbing off well. On the other hand, people were also shocked to see Bryce James and his growth spurt. A fan thought “Bryce grew a foot since Thanksgiving”. After his elder brother, the senior at Sierra Canyon High has quickly caught a lot of attention.

With him also potentially being in the NBA two years from now, some believe LeBron James could play with both of his sons before retiring from the sport. But that aside, a few of the fans were just glad to witness the great family that LeBron and Savannah James have built. One such comment read “I know LeBron watching this thanking GOD. Beautiful family”.
