Before she married Stephen Curry and moved to the Bay Area, Ayesha was just a kid growing up in North Carolina. While she dreamed of becoming an actress, a business career may have never crossed her wildest imagination. However, she had the flair for business much before she set foot in the industry. It all began with her mother, Carol Alexander’s 40-year-old small business for Ayesha.

From Michelin Star restaurants to skincare brands, the 34-year-old has spread her business empire across a wide range of industries. However, before she even kicked off her journey in the industry, Ayesha showed early signs of a high business acumen as a mere child.
Young Ayesha worked alongside her mother, Carol Alexander in her salon during the weekends. Alexander also ran small business for 40 years where Ayesha would often help out as a child. She reminisced about this very experience of her’s in a recent appearance on the podcast, “Fat Mascara”.
“My mom was a hairstylist and small business owner for like 40 years,” she recalled. “So I would spend the weekends with her in her salon, answering phones for her…”
Ayesha further mentioned, “Just watching other women and people get their hair done and….watching that simple act of like getting someone’s hair right….instilling that little bit of confidence in them….I thought was so beautiful and it almost made my mom seem like a therapist to me.”
Ayesha has now taken this inspiration and soared to great heights as a businesswoman. She has further inspired the next generation with her incredible business empire as well.

The $20M worth entrepreneur cannot just serve as an inspiration to fans but to her own children as well. Ayesha works relentlessly on her businesses to grow them to extraordinary heights. However, her influence does not stop there. She is also an avid philanthropist who has selflessly given back to the community.
