Heat’s Serbian Starlet Unravels Wholesome Jimmy Butler Relationship After Statement Game vs the Lakers

The Miami Heat managed to get a comfortable win over the Inugral In-Season tournament winners, the City of Angles. With a score of 110-96, the Magic City was able to assert their dominance with Tyler Herro leading his team at 21 points. At the same time, Nikola Jovic was also able to deliver 15 points and 8 rebounds, showing his influence on both sides of the court. The Serbian Starlet, opened for the second time due to their star players being out and capitalised on the chance provided to him.

However, after the match, he showed love to the cornerstone of the Miami Heat and spoke about his relationship with him, Jimmy Butler.

Nikola Jovic calls the Butler his brother

It is nothing new that Nikola Jovic and Jimmy Butler share a special camaraderie with each other. In an interview with HoopsHype, Nikola Jovic even said that Butler has taught him “how to stay in the league as long as you can because staying in the league is hard.” So Butler and Jovic have a very special bond as Butler sees potential in him and has said that after he’s done, Jovic is the one who will help the organization grow and attain glory.

Currently, due to his right foot injury, Jimmy Butler has been out of action for the sixth time. After playing 24 matches this season, he has managed to average 21.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. However, how did he incur this injury and when can we expect him back?

After coming in strong this season from an incredible run last year, the Miami Heat are facing some injury issues with their squad. Since 18th December Jimmy Butler has been sidelined due to a calf injury which happened during the matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves. After that, he missed 5 matches back-to-back and made a comeback against the Utah Jazz and after 23 minutes of play; he seemed to have aggravated his injury.

Due to his absence, there is a void in the Heat’s lineup which has affected their chemistry and momentum. After being on a 4-game win streak, due to the absence of Butler in mid-game, they lost against the Beehive State, 117-109. As Butler is resting and recuperating fully, fans are anxiously awaiting Butler’s return to full strength, expecting that it would signal the resurrection of the Miami Heat’s quest for success on the court.
