After a winning season opener against the Detroit Pistons, the Miami Heat has faced four losses back-to-back. With Jimmy Butler and co. facing the most backlash from injuries this season, their next game is one that everyone is looking forward to. Caleb Martin of the Heats has been out for the longest. And it seems that he won’t be available soon.

But the Miami vs Washington game will showcase their key players. The latest injury report shows that the Heat will feature a great starter lineup. Yet Jimmy Butler’s status is still more or less doubtful. Let’s take a look at the report.

The Heat vs Wizards in-season tournament will feature Miami’s key players

According to recent updates, the injuries of the Heats’ top players do not look serious enough to sit them out. Since getting the lead by one point over the Pistons on the opening night (103-102), Miami has been in the line of fire. The Wizards game should, if they play their cards right, take the heat off of them.

Ira Winderman reported that “Bam Adebayo (hip), Kevin Love (shoulder) and Haywood Highsmith (knee) available for Friday vs Wizards. Butler (knee) probable. Martin (knee) out.”

Caleb Martin had been out due to left knee tendinitis for the previous games as well. Though Butler has also been facing the same issue (right knee tendinitis), it doesn’t seem to affect his game. Kevin Love, on the other hand, had to sit out because of left shoulder contusion. But he is also going to make an appearance for the Wizards in-season tournament. The Heat’s center, Bam Adebayo, also seems to be recovering from his hip contusion.

So it looks like Erik Spoelstra has all the pieces for a starter. All that’s left is to make sure they win.

Jimmy Butler had a slow start to this season. It is not unusual, especially when it comes to Butler. We all know how aggressive he gets during playoffs. But this time, it was an even lower start. Tyler Herro, on the other hand, has put up great scores. Scoring points all in double figures since the start of the season, Herro has become a fan favorite.

Butler currently averages 15.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in the 3 games he has played so far. But he still has time to bounce back and with more players going to be on the court tonight, it is possible to see Jimmy Buckets make an appearance. After all, much of Miami’s current success is from Jimmy Butler.
