During Team USA’s match against New Zealand, a fan moment became viral. The fan was holding a sign saying, “Austin Reaves > LeBron James.”. When the media asked Reaves about him becoming the best player in the world, he had a lot to say. Reaves said, “I think it was the sign that solidified it all. You know me over LeBron, valid statement, huh?” He further added by saying, “It was funny, yeah, just because me and LeBron have such a good relationship. Obviously he is the greatest player ever, but hey I appreciate the sign.”

He said, ” In my personal opinion, even being a Kobe Bryant guy, I think [James] is the greatest player to ever play. You could make an argument, but I think how good he is at all facets of the game. I don’t think anybody’s ever been that good at everything. So I think he’s the greatest player ever.”
