The Orlando Magic dominated the Los Angeles Lakers to improve their season record to 4-2. The young Magic squad started the game hot and continued their impressive performance throughout the game. Paolo Banchero and Co. took a 16-point lead in the first half, and the Lakers could not get themselves out of that hole. That was a statement win for the Magic as they suffered a heartbreaking loss the last time they faced LeBron James and Co.

Many players from the Magic squad stepped up their game to get a win over the Lakers. Orlando?s 19-year-old rookie had a breakout performance against King James and could not help himself from gushing over the 4-time champion.

Orlando?s 19-year-old rookie Anthony Black got the first start of his NBA career against the LA Lakers. He answered in the biggest moment of his career and had a breakout performance, scoring 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists to help his team get a win over King James. After his impressive outing, Black talked about sharing the court with 4-time Champion LeBron James. ?He is probably the best player ever. That?s what I would say?, the 19-year-old said, gushing over King James.

 

It is crazy to think that LeBron has been in the league since before Anthony Black was born. Black has seen King James dominate the league since his childhood, and the rookie considers King James the GOAT over Michael Jordan. LeBron had an impressive performance tonight against the Magic as well. The King had 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists in the loss.

The Orlando Magic?s early season performance has shown that they have a bright future ahead. The young squad has won four of their first six games and has beaten some of the best teams in the league. Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner had a great game against the Lakers, scoring 25 and 26 points, respectively. Anthony Black also played a great game and proved that he belongs in the league.
