Luka Doncic created a whirlwind in the NBA world. The Dallas Mavericks star guard dropped 73 points, the season-high score beating Joel Embiid. Following the game, praises flooded in for the star. And some of them were from the greats of the game. Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson, who has been active on social media commenting on the sport, didn’t fail to speak about the Slovenian star.

Moreover, he was also left awestruck with the current season’s offensive dominance. Days after Joel Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns lit the hardwood on fire, Doncic took charge. Magic took to his X handle and said, “What’s going on in the NBA?! The league is on fire with another dominate performance. This time, Luke Doncic! 73 points, wow!”

The Lakers legend never misses a beat in the NBA world. He regularly put out his views on the affairs of the game. Notably, after Embiid’s masterful 70 points and Towns’ brilliance on January 22, he put out a long post, praising the duo individually.

Following him, Celtics legend Kevin Garnett also had something to add. He took to his X handle and said, “I guess Luka heard all that shyt”

Apart from him, the Mavs’ HC Jason Kidd described the performance in a peculiar way. He picked up the mic during the post-game press conference and said, “Picasso. This is one of his best paintings. This will sell at a high price.”

As the coach of the Mavs, Kidd not only had praised the star guard in the past but also criticized him brutally. Interestingly, he took a shot at the 24-year-old over his defense ability. However, after tonight’s occasion, it has been only showering praises.

Ahead of these three legends, Luka’s mentor Dirk Nowitzki also put out a post for the rising superstar. He just posted, “Luka,” with a lot of fire emojis via his X handle.
