So much so that for some time, people in the media thought that he being adamant about his Miami dream would sabotage his trade potential. Adrian Wojnarowski told ESPN that the Lillard trade would take a long time because of its intricacies. And it took that long a time. Only thing is that it did not go as predicted for Damian Lillard or the Miami Heat. Watch the video below;
Giannis Antetokounmpo did what Jimmy Butler could not. The Greek Freak put the Buck’s front office on notice that he would move out of Milwaukee if they did not upgrade their roster. Perhaps, the Heat culture does not give that kind of voice to its superstar Jimmy. With the preseason around the corner, Giannis is a happy camper, as his magic has worked.

Miami Heat still have time till the trade deadline, but there are not many talents available in the market. Having lost some of their key players, like Gabe Vincent and Max Strus, they would have to equip themselves for the postseason. But Miami always figures it out.

On the other hand, the Bucks have lost out on Jrue Holiday, a player who declared that he wanted to retire as a Buck. There are moments in postseasons when Jrue Holiday?s defense single-handedly won the games for Milwaukee. Now that he is not on the team, it will be interesting to see how the Bucks are going cope up with it.

Giannis and the Bucks have a superior team on paper. If this season translates into a pleasant one for them, then for the rest of the East, the road to finals will indeed go through Milwaukee.
