The Golden State Warriors Center Kevon Looney was also present at the Warriors’ open practice and was having fun. Looney left the NBA world in splits after he embarrassed a little kid by swatting his layup attempt with full force. The kid could do nothing but smile at the humiliation as the entire arena and the Warriors squad burst out laughing. Fans took no time to address the hilarious moment on social media.

A fan hilariously pointed out that Looney?s block made the kid resort to the famous ?Nae Nae? dance, ?He made Lil bruh do the NaeNae?.

Watching Looney?s passionate block, one fan predicted he would bag the DPOY trophy this season.

A fan even compared Kevon to his father, Doug Looney, who played for Schreiner University in Kerrville and was their career rebounding leader.

The NBA world also saw the funny side of the clip and wondered how much fun the Warriors fans were having.

Is Kevon Looney Underrated?

Kevon Looney might be one of the most underrated players in the NBA. The 27-year-old Center has been a solid contributor to the Warriors? success and has helped Stephen Curry win three of his four Championships. He is a menace on the board and especially showed his rebounding prowess against the Los Angeles Lakers in last season?s playoffs. Looney went head-to-head with Lakers superstar Anthony Davis and grabbed 23 and 18 rebounds on two separate occasions. Draymond Green even called Looney the ?Most Professional? player he has ever worked with on an episode of Podcast P with Paul George.

Looney will have his work cut out for him in the Warriors’ next preseason game as they will face the Victor Wembanyama-led San Antonio Spurs for the first time. Wembanyama has dominated his opponents in the preseason, and Kevon Looney will have to go head-to-head against the 7?4 rookie if he decides to suit up tomorrow. Seeing how Wemby has humiliated the defenders until now, Looney might get the same treatment from the Frenchman, that he gave to the little kid at Warriors practice.
