Luka Doncic carved his name into the NBA history books propelling the Dallas Mavericks to a dominant lead against the Utah Jazz in a spectacular show of ability and power. Doncic’s first-half effort was nothing short of spectacular, as he recorded a remarkable 29-point triple-double in only 20 minutes of action. Despite the injuries to many of the important players for the Mavs, he demonstrated his leadership skills. So, he not only put up points for his team but his calmness and control over the game just shocked the fans as well as his opponents.

However, he was part of a heated moment with Kris Dunn during the match, where he faced a ridiculous call.

Doncic receives a foul despite Dunn’s instigation

Doncic’s first-half stat line of 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists is not just a tribute to his greatness, but also a historic achievement. No one had previously recorded a 25-point triple-double in the first half of an NBA game before Luka Doncic did it against the Jazz. Kris Dunn from the Utah Jazz provoked Doncic, resulting in him receiving a technical foul.

As seen in the footage above, we see Dunn talking trash to Doncic and even pointing his finger at him in his face. However, all Doncic did was just smile and laugh it off. Because by halftime, the Slovenian sensation guided his team to a 76-51 lead. However, the reason the 4x All-Star was in the spotlight is not because of the numbers he put up, but the way he achieved them.
