The LA Clippers‘ season got off to a rocky start. The glamour of the Intuit Dome quickly faded as their highly anticipated Big 3 was reduced to a duo, and even that adjustment struggled to work out due to injuries. After a road full of uncertainty, they finally found a grip.
Following an unimpressive 2-4 record, the franchise secured three consecutive victories, getting themselves back on track. Now, to extend their winning streak, the Clippers will welcome the Toronto Raptors, a team still waiting for a breakthrough this season. Before the rivalry heats up tonight, let’s take a look at their injury reports.

The two players who haven’t started for the Clippers this regular season, P.J. Tucker and Kawhi Leonard, will remain sidelined. While Tucker is out due to personal reasons, the two-time champion Leonard will need more time to recover from his right knee inflammation. Mo Bamba is also on the injury list due to a knee issue. However, according to RealGM’s report, the 7-foot center is listed as questionable, and the franchise will observe him before the game to determine his status.
Unlike the Clippers, the Raptors have a longer injury report, listing seven players. According to The Athletic’s Eric Koreen, the forwards, Garrett Temple and Jonathan Mogbo, who are on the list due to back spasms and hip injuries respectively, have a slim chance of making it to the roster. The Insider mentioned that Temple is doubtful for the matchup, while Mogbo is listed as probable. About Immanuel Quickley, who had a pelvic contusion, Koreen stated that HC Darko Rajakovic is positive that he could join the roster following Friday’s practice.
Meanwhile, Ja’Kobe Walter is sidelined with a shoulder injury, Scottie Barnes is out due to an orbital fracture, Bruce Brown is recovering from a knee injury, and Kelly Olynyk remains unavailable because of a back injury. None of these players are currently fit enough to return to the court. This brings us close to the probable roster choices of both teams.

With their injury-ridden squad, it will be tough for the Raptors to secure a win. However, they will look to make the most of Gradey Dick and RJ Barrett’s talents and could replace their starting choice, Immanuel Quickley, with Davion Mitchell, D.J. Carton, or Jamal Shead if the point guard is unable to play.
