Seems too good to be true, doesn’t it? The only players who will miss the clash due to injury are Cam Christie and Kris Dunn. This means that all of the Clippers’ starting lineup will be healthy and ready to go against the Spurs.
And they will certainly need all hands on deck against the likes of Victor Wembanyama and co. After all, a full roster guarantees nothing as evidenced by their defeat to the Phoenix Suns in the last match. However, the silver lining in that matchup was that Leonard was playing like the 2019 version of himself. Something that even Kevin Durant couldn’t help but appreciate.

Back in the year of 2019, when Covid was barely on anyone’s radars, there was a dream. A dream to unite two of the best players in the world on the same team. We are talking of course, about Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard. However, like most dreams, it never ended up coming true.
Even so, the duo share a massive amount of respect for each other. And this was on display once again after Kevin Durant’s Phoenix Suns beat Leonard’s LA Clippers. Durant took the time to speak to the media about Leonard, praising him for persevering through the numerous injuries and setbacks over the years.
Durant said, “He looks great to me…Hate to see an all-time great have significant injuries and miss significant time. He means so much to the game of basketball. Around the world and in LA. It’s good to see him back.” Isn’t it nice to see two legends whose paths never crossed as teammates still sharing so much respect and love toward one another?
