Lonnie Walker IV has had an unstable NBA career lately. Fortunately, it was all put to rest by the Philadelphia 76ers, giving a much-needed chance to prove for the 26-year-old. After a 33-game stint with the Žalgiris Kaunas (LBL), he signed a $3.7 million contract with the Sixers. Coming into the team in the middle of the season, the salary is also structured uniquely. 

For the base year in which Walker could play a maximum of 27 games, the team will pay a base salary of $780K. And, in the following season, which is the 2025-26 season, the promising talent will earn $2.9 million. So far, he has averaged 8.9 ppg in 8 games playing around 20-odd minutes per game. Now that the Philadelphia team’s season has already gone under the bus, Walker has to consistently perform to keep playing in the league.
