Skip Bayless has been the harshest critic of LeBron James ever since he entered the NBA. Be it the GOAT debate, or the unabashed controversial takes, Bayless has made a career out of stirring this pot. He has been outspoken about believing that LeBron is not as dominant as Michael Jordan in the playoffs. Although LeBron is still trailing behind MJ in terms of championships, the King is still playing at 38 YO and there are more seasons left for him.
However, there was one instance, 16 years ago, when Bayless paid homage to LeBron, whom he criticized throughout his entire life. What’s even more scary is that he showed up as LeBron James in a Halloween costume.

In the latest episode of the Skip Bayless show, he responded to a question on what did he go down for Halloween this year. Bayless, not typically one to partake in Halloween, decided to dress up as LeBron once.

He donned a number 23 Cavaliers jersey, a nod to LeBron’s early days in the NBA when he was a “headband guy”. He wore the same headband and even brought a brick to work. Typically, it’s dressing up like your hero in a Halloween costume. Skip took it to the next level by holding a brick on a live television, showing LeBron’s shooting struggles.

Skip is a certified LeBron hater
In his long list of comparisons, Skip has called out LeBron for the lack of a clutch gene over games in crunch time. Be it Bayless criticizing LeBron for missing free throws or accusing him of chucking three-pointers, Skip does it all.

That was the last time Skip has been in a Halloween costume. He takes a dig at him again, saying that he is ahead of the curve. Bayless talks about last season’s playoff games. “Remember the fourth-quarter playoff games? LeBron set the all-time playoff record for consecutive missed three-point shots in 4th quarter of playoff games. At 20, he missed 20 in a row. Seriously? LeBrick” Skip fired. In the 4th quarter against Denver, LeBron made one shot out of 10 in three combined.
