The Los Angeles Clippers have become one of the standout teams in the league in the past couple of months. Following a rough start to life as a Clipper, James Harden has settled into his role as the playmaking genius behind the Clippers’ devastating offense. Due to his exceptional performances, reports have emerged that Harden hopes to sign a long-term contract and end his career as a Clipper.

However, many fans have taken these reports with a pinch of salt, as Harden has changed his stance on multiple occasions before. American rapper Mase burst into laughter upon hearing about Harden’s desire to retire as a Clipper and humorously likened it to a funny anecdote.

In the latest episode of It Is What It Is, Mase clowned reports that suggested that Harden wanted to retire as a Clipper. He said, This is like a girl that been married three times… James Harden is a Virgo. That psychological makeup is a lot of highs and lows… So, I wouldn’t any of that as true.”

However, his time with the Nets was even more disappointing. Despite possessing the likes of Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Harden, the Nets failed to even make it past the Eastern Conference semifinals. The Nets fulfilled his demand and shipped him to the Sixers, where he paired up with Embiid. However, history repeated itself, as after two underwhelming seasons with the Sixers, Harden demanded yet another trade.
