For the time in a decade, scarlet confetti fell from the skies. The Ohio State Buckeyes got its crown as the national champion after a 33-yard field goal from Jayden Fielding capped off a magical night. The Buckeyes played a surgical game to smash through the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. And there was one happy member watching the entire action unfold. LeBron James couldn’t contain his happiness.
Hailing from Ohio, James was dancing on the jumbotron while his Buckeyes continued their first-half onslaught. Once the field goal went in, James was on cloud nine. As a team-first player, the 40-year-old first congratulated the contingent. “It’s good to be a Buckeye fan!” he screamed as the team won a national championship for the first time since running out of Wisconsin in 2014.
With the scoreline once again lob-sided, there were several heroes in tonight’s masterful display put on by the Ohio State Buckeyes. Still, James first celebrated the “entire Ohio State ball club” as the MVPs. But when forced to choose, the ardent football fan picked the man who manipulated the entire proceedings as his championship MVP.

“Will Howard managed to the game. He was unbelievable start to finish. And that’s my MVP. We know as Buckeye Nation, where Will Howard goes, we go. And Will Howard was unbelievable. Shout out to Will Howard you was unbelievable brother!” James said about the Buckeyes quarterback.
It was surely a game where Howard’s QB acumen presented a major threat. Likewise, he did walk away with the game’s MVP honors. However, many believed James and the jury got it wrong.
Fans feel Quinshon Judkins was robbed off the MVP
The Buckeyes weren’t always in a seat of celebration By the end of the first quarter, it seemed the Fighting Irish had control, leading with a touchdown. However, a 21-0 second quarter broke through them. Howard obviously connected all of his passes with lethal accuracy. But at the same time, Quinshon Judkins was also the only man with the touchdowns.
Judkins not getting game MVP or even a chance to speak postgame is wild to me

Hence, fans were perplexed. “Judkins not getting game MVP or even a chance to speak postgame is wild to me,” a fan wrote. The running back transferred over from Ole Miss to Ohio State despite posting 1000-yard seasons. And tonight, he ended up being the most dangerous weapon in the armory.
By his performance standards, this was the biggest game of the year. Judkins showed out going for three game-turning touchdowns and running for 121 yards. For many, that second quarter alone sealed the MVP in his favor. So when he wasn’t awarded the trophy, they were beside themselves.
HOW THE FUCK DOES JUDKINS NOT WIN MVP WITH 121 YARDS AND 3 TDS WHEN HOWARD PLAYED LIKE SHIT IN THE 2ND HALF pic.twitter.com/lPHcsgE7or

One fan let his fury unleash. “HOW THE FUCK DOES JUDKINS NOT WIN MVP WITH 121 YARDS AND 3 TDS WHEN HOWARD PLAYED LIKE S**T IN THE 2ND HALF,” they wrote. And if being honest, it was always going to be hard to pick between the teammates. Judkins was decisive in the final. However, Will Howard was no different.
Still, the performance of the Buckeyes’ running back was sensational. His hattrick of TDs arguably set the tone for a dominant night for Ohio State. As the front-line option for Howard, Quinshon Judkins proved his worth multi-fold on the biggest night of his college career. So the wave of support was no surprise.
Quinshon Judkins had his MVP trophy taken from him on national TV and given to a guy who threw 10 passes to multiple NFL wideouts 🤡😭😭

“Quinshon Judkins had his MVP trophy taken from him on national TV and given to a guy who threw 10 passes to multiple NFL wideouts” a fan mocked Howard winning MVP. While Judkins did do something exceptional, Will Howard pulled off something no other QB has on the championship stage.
He began the game with 13 consecutive passes, ensuring there wouldn’t be an interruption in the offensive flow. With that, the expert quarterback set the record for the most consecutive completions in a title game. The mantle was earlier held by Mac Jones, which he ironically achieved against Ohio State in 2021.
