The King is now a three-time Olympic gold medalist. LeBron James and Team USA’s quest for gold ended with popping champagne bottles. Not only was it a proud moment for the country but also for each of the players’ legacy. Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and LeBron finally got a chance to team up and showcase their talents on a global stage. Now, the trio even delivered one of the best sequences in the history of Olympic basketball during the Semi-Final game. This particular tour will be one of the most highlighting runs of their careers.
Looking back at the proud moment, it seems that James couldn’t resist displaying his favorite bit to his 160 million followers on Instagram. LeBron James recently updated his profile picture on IG, featuring the medal ceremony. However, the profile picture of him, Steph, and KD holding their gold medals seems to have been taken out from a screenshot. Regardless of the quality, it just shows how proud of a moment it was for James, winning it all alongside the players who were once his longtime rivals. Hopefully, the King will update the same image to a better resolution in the future.

There is no doubt that LeBron will be rocking this profile picture at least until the start of the season. Moreover, he is yet to celebrate his third gold medal at home, which will be something to look out for. The squad celebrated enough back in Paris but after a warm welcome back home, they might be open to another night out. Yes, the team can celebrate as much as they like. But then again, each of them will be getting back to their respective training camps soon.
LeBron James on the other hand constantly reminds his fans of his memorable moments from the Olympics through his stories and posts. Updating just the Instagram profile picture wasn’t enough for James. Captain America even updated his Twitter profile picture but missed out on the quality yet again. It seems that the King is quite excited about putting the stamp of his gold medal run on his socials. Interestingly, the fun for LeBron doesn’t end here.
LeBron James has a lot to look forward to this year
The gold medal run is just a headstart to what is to come for the King. As James looks to get back to the Lakers, he’ll be pairing up with his son Bronny James, along with his best friend on the sidelines. The Lakers will sell out tickets this upcoming season, as fans will witness history in the making. There hasn’t been a father-son duo in the NBA with James and Bronny being the first. The duo will be supervised by LeBron’s podcast partner, JJ Reddick.
