Witnessing his son make progress in life is something that every parent expects. Some of them see their dream becoming reality, while some of them cannot afford to do so. However, Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James seized the opportunity quite soon as his son Bronny James has taken a major step toward entering the league. His 19-year-old son’s agent, Rich Paul, confirmed that Bronny will stay in the draft for the 2025-26 league season, and LeBron James could not get prouder for this.
Overjoyed by his son’s draft place, LeBron James celebrated in his way to display his happiness about Bronny staying in the draft. He posted several stories reposting posts from media houses, including ESPN, Ballislife, and Houseofhighlights. It seemed like someone had spammed King James’ Instagram ID and blindly uploaded several stories on the Bronny James update. But it was just fatherly love since Rich Paul has refused to get Bronny a “two-way contract.” In his latest revelations to ESPN, LeBron’s agent also discussed that he’s not going to serve the 19-year-old to the Lakers just because he is King James’ son.
As per Rich Paul, “If they[Lakers] value him enough and he’s there, that’s great. If it’s not the Lakers, that’s great. I won’t be mad if it’s not.” Apparently, Paul seems to be composed about the situation in both cases as he is not only focused on the Lakers. However, Paul is still ready for the possibility of Bronny playing with LeBron, only if it happens “organically.” Though Bronny is not as finished as LeBron was, his son still got a “hell of a start,” per his agent.

‘Big Shot Rob’ reveals LeBron James might have no intention of joining Bronny
Seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry gave some insights regarding LeBron James Lakers’ plan and his union with Bronny on the court. Horry recently appeared on the Dan Patrick show and shed light on King James’ future endeavors. As per the NBA legend, LeBron might be looking to get in purple and gold jerseys again with a hefty contract. However, he is using leverage to get a big contract. “I think he’s going to use that leverage to get one last big contract, ” Horry shared his opinion on the show.

Though Robert mentioned Bronny, he shared that LeBron has a bigger factor in staying in the Lakers. The former pointed out James’ habit of jumping from team to team, as the latter had already been in three teams. Therefore, Horry thinks that King James does not want such a history to be “part of his legacy.” Apparently, the chances of the Lakers superstar choosing the opt-in are more.
Moreover, Big Shot Rob also claimed Bronny would be selected on his merit rather than LeBron’s likeliness. But the official announcement for that is still a month away. Till then, watch out for what Shaq’s ex-agent, Leonard Armato, had to say about the marketing genius through this video.
